Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai
The Brabourne Stadium is in the Indian city of Mumbai. It is located near Churchgate railway station in South Mumbai. The stadium is owned by the Cricket Club of India Brabourne stadium hosted Test matches from 1948 to the 1972, as well as the Bombay Pentangular matches.

Since the early 1970s, Brabourne Stadium ceased to be a major venue for international matches after a dispute between CCI and the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) over the allotment of tickets. The MCA then built a cricket stadium of their own, the Wankhede Stadium, a few hundred metres north of Brabourne. Since then it has lost out on major matches though first class matches are held when visiting teams arrive in the city.

International cricket returned to Brabourne in 1989 when Australia played Pakistan a One Day International. Since then it has hosted a few more ODIs. In recent years, many of the teams visiting India have started their tour with a match at the Brabourne. The match between Australia and Mumbai in 1997-98 was noted for Sachin Tendulkar's first double hundred in first class cricket.

M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore
The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium is lore, Karnataka, is one of the premier cricket stadiums of India. Flanked by picturesque Cubbon Park and uptown MG Road, this three-decade-old stadium is situated in the heart of the city of Bangalore.

Formerly known as Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) stadium, the ground was later rechristened in tribute to Mr. M. Chinnaswamy who had served the KSCA for four decades and was president of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) from 1977-1980.

This 55,000 capacity stadium not only regularly hosts Tests, One Day International and other first class matches, but also other musical and cultural events. The stadium is the home ground of the Karnataka state cricket team and the Indian Premier League franchise the Bangalore Royal Challengers.

MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai
The M. A. Chidambaram Stadium is a cricket stadium in Chennai is named after M. A. Chidambaram, the former President of BCCI and the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association.

The stadium was formerly known as Madras Cricket Club Ground or Chepauk Stadium. Commonly known as Chepauk, its first match was played February 10, 1934. This stadium is where the Indian cricket team won its first ever Test victory here in 1952 against England. It is the home ground of the Tamil Nadu cricket team.

The nature of the pitch at this ground is bouncy which offers something to both the bat and the ball in a country renowned for producing dry, low, spinning, flat wickets. In recent times, the wicket has got flatter.
