New Zealand have won the toss and will bat first.

Good morning and welcome to cricket20's ball by ball coverage of the first of the two Semi Final encounters which is going to be played between New Zealand and Pakistan. Both sides look very strong on paper.

The Pakistanis would be carrying a slight psychological edge after topping their points table whereas the Kiwis would be all fired up to topple the Pakistanis and enter the Finals. The Kiwis have always looked good to reach the finals but after that they have always faltered.

This is the stage where they can prove their critics wrong. This should be a very keenly fought contest.
